About Me:
I’m currently a senior in Aerospace engineering graduating in May of 2012. I am doing undergraduate research to gain some work experience and help broaden my horizons. I plan on entering the workforce directly out of college and pursuing my Master’s degree at a later date. I’m currently seeking employment at a variety of businesses with a focus on spacecraft systems engineering positions.
Research Project:
The purpose of this project is to research autonomous guidance navigation and control (GNC) systems with applications to investigating near-Earth objects. The objective is to familiarize myself with autonomous GNC systems currently available and their applications as well as current research in the field of autonomous GNC. In the future, it may be possible to create purely autonomous probes to explore multiple near-Earth objects in one mission. These probes would only be given targets and would plan their own trajectories and timetables.
